The Next Adventure comes to a close... for now :)

Ok- Got to love how life changes right?

I have decided to withdraw from this adventure.  Due to the health state of my grandmother I feel it would be selfish of me to go off, when I could be spending what valuable time I have left with her.  I know she would kick my butt if she knew she was the reason I have decided not to go, but truthfully I have been feeling less sure of this being the right time since she went back into the hospital over the weekend. 

God has a plan for all of us, and looking at the struggles that I have come across lately with this trip I feel less sure this is the right time.  If I am feeling any signs of regret or that I am not 100% sure I know this is not the right time. 

Italy will always be there- but my grandmother will not.  I know that if something were to happen while I was away I would not be able to forgive myself... 

So what now-  I guess I have a tattoo to plan :D   Thank you all for supporting me in this (short) journey.  You're prayers have meant more than you will ever know. 

The Waiting Game...

You know I have never been really good at the waiting game... It is torture waiting to hear back about financial aid.  It holds the future of Italy in the palm of its hand, and I WANT AN ANSWER NOW :D

There is another meeting coming up on April 7th, so I will get a bit more info... My plan of going early has changed... not just because Jessi is coming home, but I did not take into account when spring quarter would end... June 9th is my last final (and I had wanted to leave June 10th >.>).  Mom and I agreed that when we do our cruise after I graduate, we will see more of Italy then, so I'm OK with not going early now :)

Please keep praying for me and that everything will fall into place, and that this is the path God has for me right now.  Also pray that if this is not the right path, that there is a good reason, and that there are people around to pick up my crushed heart :D   I have already decided that if this is not meant to be, I am just going to get a new tattoo :

Things are looking up!

You know it’s really exciting when things start to somewhat fall into place :)

I have been worrying about plane ticket costs for a while, and I just found out that my tax return will pay for 90% of my round trip ticket!  How crazy is that!

Now it’s the waiting game... I am still waiting on summer financial aid conformation... If this happens I am on my way to Italy!!!

Keep praying for me- One obstacle checked off my list, two more to go :D

And so it begins...

I decided to create this blog so that you all can keep updated on my process to get to Italy and my adventures while I am there.  So let me fill you in on the program a bit-

It is a 7 credit month long trip to Italy that revolves all around the art and history, as well as creating some art of our own. here is the list of places we will be going:

Of course this is subject to change but I am so excited!!!!!

I will also be going up early and hanging out with Jessica :D we will see some of the other places and have some fun!

Now this will not be easy... Pray that the funding comes through.  It is not an easy ride to get to Italy just the plane ticket alone makes me feel dizzy (the lowest I have found it 1600 round trip >.<). 

This will be a great experience for me and I am excited to share it with you.
